Serial text and graphic Displays
Displays or also displays with serial interface are called "serial displays". The serial interface can now be a RS-232, a SPI or also an I²C bus. Serial control requires only a few pins on the controller and can therefore also bridge longer distances (RS-232 / RS-485). Functions such as deleting or positioning the cursor, and in the case of graphic-capable modules also the module of graphics and icons, are carried out via the serial interface.
Modules are available as text and graphic modules. Here, the data is transmitted bit by bit, i.e. serially with different baud rates or clock rates. The following families offer serial displays: The serials, DOG, eDIP, uniTFT. You can buy them in our webshop.
